DAY 01 LIMA (-/-/-)

Upon arrival in Lima, transfer to the hotel.

DAY 02 LIMA – IQUITOS (B/L/D) FLIGHT

Early morning flight to Iquitos. (Flight not included) Arrival in Iquitos and brief city orientation, 40 km journey by boat down the Amazonas River to Ceiba Tops Lodge. Afternoon hike in the beautiful primary rainforest reserve surrounding the lodge.

DAY 03 IQUITOS (B/L/D)

Morning boat ride, spotting for dolphins, to visit a small village of Yagua Indians. Afternoon walking excursion to the neighboring town of Indiana stopping along the way to see the immense Ceiba tree for which the lodge is named. Originally a Franciscan mission, Indiana has grown into a large river community with its own market, high school and small hospital.

DAY 04 IQUITOS – LIMA (B/-/-) FLIGHT

Depending on your flight back to Lima you have the choice of morning walking or boating excursion to further enjoy the rainforest and Amazon River. In case you take the early morning flight, there will be no further excursions on this day. Transfer to Iquitos and to the airport IQT to fly back to Lima. (Flight not included) Arrival in Lima according to current flight schedule at 09:10 (morning flight) or 18:05 (afternoon flight). Extension night in Lima might be necessary depending on your international flight schedule. You also have the possibility to book a day room at the Hotel in Lima.
